Frequently asked questions
Can I split my internet bill?
Yes. Check your eligibility, choose how much to pay when the bill is due, and Flex covers the rest. Your provider is paid in full and on time. You pay Flex back within 30 days, on a date you choose.
Can I split my phone bill?
Yes, it works the same way as any bill on Flex: pay part when it's due, the rest later in the month on a date you choose, and your provider gets the full amount on time.
Can I split a bundled internet, phone and TV bill?
Yes. You can split your bill if it's bundled or separate. It works the same way—you choose how much to pay upfront and the rest later. Your provider gets paid in full.
Will my service be disconnected if I split the bill?
No. Your provider receives the full amount upfront, whether you split or pay in full.
What if my bill changes month to month?
Monthly fluctuations are common with home service bills. Promo pricing ends, plans change, data overages land. You choose how much to split each month. Change any of it, anytime.
What does it cost to split an internet, phone or TV bill?
There's a 0.5% processing fee on the bill amount, and a split fee of up to 3% on your 2nd payment—charged only if you split. The split fee is based on how much you borrow and cannot be reduced with early repayment. Paying by credit card adds 2.5% surcharge. There are no late fees and no penalties from Flex. You don't have to pay a membership fee to split an everyday bill.
Does splitting these bills build credit history?
Internet, phone and TV payments don't include credit reporting. If you pay rent through Flex, your on-time rent payments are reported to TransUnion, Equifax and Experian at no extra cost, which can help build your credit history.
Do I have to split every month?
No. Pay in full any month you choose and you won't pay a split fee. You never have to reapply to split again later.
